Our Recall Plan

  1. As per industry practice, where we are capturing all the details of products like Manufacturing Date, Expiry date, Batch Number at the time of receipt of the stocks at our warehouse location.
  2. We have kept software-based track for the nearby expiry stocks in our system which will give the report as what is near expiry for all categories of products and we have standard SOPs in place to trigger the action to take off those products from the shelves and will be called back to our central warehouse and same will be returned to concern suppliers or we will destroy the products.
  3. As per our E-commerce business operation model whenever any customer places the order in our app or website and based on pin code we shall divert the order to a nearby store and the same will be fulfilled from the stores as per the timeline chosen by the customer.
  4. We have more emphasis on training to our store staff to handle products in hygiene and safe way to ensure quick and proper delivery of the products to customers. 
  5. We have also placed our call centre numbers information in our website and app for the customers to approach freely to provide their feedback or to post their queries which will be handled on priority basis from the back-end team to provide quick resolution to customers.
  6. We have double check for MRP & Expiry date of the product, one is at central warehouse at the time of receipt of stocks and one more time at the store level before delivering the product to customer so ensure we should deliver only consumable products.
  7. All our stores are connected in real time basis – where they can check the online reports in system which are all stocks are near to expiry to initiate the action to remove the same from the shelves and make stock transfer to send back the stocks to Central warehouse.
  8. After accumulation of nearby expiry and/or expiry stocks at our central warehouse, we shall inform the respective suppliers to collect those stocks as per the agreed timeline.
  9. As per our recall protocol, every product which we offer through our physical stores and through our E-commerce portal should be qualified through our process and after that only it will listed in our product offering.
